Things to Do

Calling all of our beloved friends from Texas and beyond! We're so excited to have you in the 'Lou, and we'd like to show you the best of our beautiful city. If you have some spare time and want to play tourist, this is where we recommend you start:

Forest Park

5595 Grand Dr, St. Louis, MO 63112, USA

Not to brag, but Forest Park is probably the greatest urban park in the nation. It has gorgeous trails, unbeatable views, and offers a wealth of museums and activities. We suggest the St. Louis Zoo (where Lucy worked in high school!), the Jewel Box, or the Art Museum. They're all an easy walk or Uber from the AC Hotel, and admission is 100% free!

Venice Café

A Mulvihill family favorite, this cash-only bar has delighted locals since the late 70's. We would highly recommend visiting this spot for drinks, live music, and a plethora of eye-catching tchotchkes.

Tower Tee Golf

Like TopGolf, but better. Why? Because it's locally owned and newly renovated... and because it's roughly two blocks from Lucy and Ben's home.

The Grove Area

Food, shopping, and gay bars; oh my! The Grove has it all. This strip is a great place to visit any time of day or night. Our favorite spots include Platypus, Atomic Cowboy, and Urban Chestnut Brewery.

Armory STL

Located in a historic building that once housed the Missouri National Guard, the Armory is now home to several bars and an array of indoor games. Grab a drink and find an opponent for a game of table tennis, beer pong, badminton, ladder golf, foosball, giant checkers and chess, arcade games, washers, or cornhole.

Museum at the Gateway Arch

No trip to St. Louis is complete without a trip to the Arch. Did you know this monument is actually a National Park? For a small fee, you can see a museum at its base and take an elevator to the top. It may be a cliché activity, but one trip and you'll understand why native St. Louisians never pass this gem without noting, "Look, it's the Arch!"
